Man applied for 400 jobs, still can’t find work
    2019-05-28  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A BRITON who has sent four job applications a week for the last two years is still unemployed. Jake Hopes says he’s been turned down by the likes of Asda and Pizza Hut, blaming fierce competition for roles. The aspiring actor has previously worked in a cinema, a shop and a pub kitchen — and says he has lots of experience in customer service and retail. The 23-year-old from Bristol says it can be soul-destroying when he doesn’t receive a response.

“I didn’t even get a job at Pizza Hut, somewhere you think hires most people,” said Hopes.
