THIRD-PARTY online insurance seller Huize.com recently launched a new insurance platform that provides customized solutions to industry risk management for enterprises.

The platform, Xiebao18.com, is aimed to explore and develop enterprise customers for Huize in order to expedite the completion of its insurance ecological system, according to the Shenzhen-based company.

It offers tailor-made and one-stop risk management services such as risk assessment, insurance consultation, insurance purchase, emergency rescue and claim settlement assistance for different industries.

The platform will draw on Huize’s years of experience in offering risk management services for different sectors such as tourism, outdoor activities, freight transportation, sports, commerce and education, and provide insurance solutions specific to each enterprise customer.

He Jian, general manager of the business unit of Xiebao18.com, said new market opportunities are emerging as the proportion of property insurance steadily grows in the online insurance business sector.

“The fact that enterprises want to evade risks and reduce losses is essentially similar to that of household end-users.

Since property insurance has its own competitive landscape in China, we need to pinpoint enterprises’ needs and grab a slice of the market through continuous innovation,” said He.

In 2018, China’s property insurance industry realized a total premium income of 1.17 trillion yuan (US$170.37 billion), an increase of 11.5 percent over 2017, according to statistics released by domestic industry analysis and data provider Newsijie.
