Teng Wenjin’s artworks

Shenzhen master Teng Wenjin is exhibiting 400 sculptures and paintings selected from his creations in the past 50 years at a retrospective exhibition in Longgang District. Entry is free.

Dates: Until June 9

Venue: Guofeng Art, Wuhe Boulevard, Longgang District (龙岗区五和大道国风艺术馆)

Metro: Line 5 to Wuhe Station (五和站), Exit A and then take a bus to Xinghe World Stop (星河World站)

Sea World

Frank F. Yang Art and Education Foundation and Design Society are jointly presenting “The Evolution of Communication” exhibition curated by Ying Kwok at Park View Gallery inside Sea World Culture and Arts Center until June 24. Entry is free. Meanwhile, the “Values of Design” exhibition, which is running until Aug. 4 at the center’s first floor, draws from the V&A’s extensive collection in London. The ticket is 50 yuan. Austrian graphic designer Henry Steiner, recognized as the “father of Hong Kong graphic design,” is exhibiting his exciting design works and collections on the second floor of the center until June 20. The ticket is also 50 yuan.

‘Little Prince’ exhibition

An exhibition themed after the world-famous novella “The Little Prince” is being held in town. Most exhibits on the fourth floor of the lifestyle store are origami installations depicting characters from the story, such as of the elephant which is eaten by a snake, the rose and the fox.

Dates: Until July 21

Venue: Eslite Spectrum Shenzhen, MixC World, Nanshan District (南山区深圳万象天地诚品生活深圳)

Song Wenzhi’s artworks

An exhibition showcasing late master Song Wenzhi’s old photos, letters, videos and his landscape paintings is being held in town. Entry is free.

Dates: Until July 10

Venue: Guan Shanyue Art Museum, 6026 Hongli Road, Futian District (福田区红荔路6026号关山月美术馆)

Metro: Line 3 or 4 to Children’s Palace Station (少年宫站), Exit B
