Opium seized POLICE in Southwest China’s Yunnan Province seized 62.76 kg of opium at the border checkpoint of Qingshuihe Port, local authorities said yesterday. Police at the checkpoint were recently informed by local residents that some smuggled drugs would possibly enter China through the port, so they intensified their efforts to check the area.
