One-stop legal service center put into use
    2019-06-19  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

THE Bao’an District Public Legal Service Center, which was relocated to Shenxinfengtai Building on Qianjin No. 1 Road, was officially put into service Monday, the Bao’an Daily reported.

The new public legal service center provides one-stop legal services, including notarization, community correction, mediation, legal consultation, legal aid and administrative reconsideration, for local residents. A command room for the district’s judicial bureau was also set up at the center.

The center will offer more legal services in the future, according to the Daily. For instance, the information system in the center’s lobby will connect with the procuratorial organ so that the latter can read files via remote video.

Other services include remote video meetings between lawyers, public security departments and prisons, and online applications and affair handling.

The district’s public legal service center was established in 2017. It has formed a three-level public legal service entity platform consisting of the center itself, 10 subcenters distributed in each subdistrict and numerous functional subcenters.

In October 2018, Bao’an launched an information hardware upgrading project for the public legal service center and realized online approval for some service items based on previous records.
