AI HELPS REUNITE ABDUCTED CHILDREN WITH PARENTS
    2019-06-20  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A 22-year-old man, identified as He, is reunited with his biological parents at the Shenzhen Municipal Public Bureau Luohu Sub-bureau yesterday, 19 years after he was abducted from his home in Luohu at the age of 3. Shenzhen police found him with the help of a new AI technique developed by Tencent that makes cross-age facial recognition possible. So far across the country, the technique has helped eight people be reunited with their families 10 years after they were abducted.Wu Wei
