3 former provincial-level officials indicted
    2019-06-25  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

THREE former provincial-level officials — Miao Ruilin, Xing Yun and Qian Yin’an — have been indicted on bribe-taking charges in three separate cases.

Upon the designation of the Supreme People’s Procuratorate (SPP), procuratorates in Qingdao, Shandong Province, Dalian, Liao-ning Province and Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, have filed indictments against Miao, Xing and Qian, respectively, the SPP said yesterday.

In their respective cases, prosecutors accused Miao, former vice governor of East China’s Jiangsu Province, and Xing, former vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the People’s Congress of Inner Mongolia, of taking advantage of their posts to seek benefits for others and accepting vast sums of money and gifts.

Qian, former member of the Standing Committee of the Shaanxi Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, was accused of taking advantage of his posts, power and status to seek benefit for others, and accepting vast amounts of money and gifts. (Xinhua)
