Song Wenzhi’s artworks

An exhibition showcasing late master Song Wenzhi’s old photos, letters, videos and landscape paintings is being held in town. Entry is free.

Dates: Until July 10

Shenzhen Museum

Relics from the tomb of Marquis of Haihun (Haihunhou) in Jiangxi Province are on display until July 28. Liu He (92-59 B.C.) was given the title Marquis of Haihun after he was deposed as emperor after only 27 days. More than 70 animal skeletons and skulls from Beijing Museum of Natural History are also on display until Sept. 1. Entry is free.

‘A Light Chaser’

“A Light Chaser: The Marvelous Exhibition of Vincent van Gogh” re-creates many immersive scenes from Van Gogh’s paintings.

Dates: Until Sept. 28

Venue: B1, China Resources Building, Keyuan Road, Nanshan District (南山区科苑路中国华润大厦B1层)

Metro: Line 2 or 11 to Houhai Station (后海站), Exit H

Nanshan Museum

Treasures on loan from Central China’s Henan Museum are on display until next year. Meanwhile, giant rubbing works of ancient reliefs, tablets and Buddha statues created by Chinese craftsman Li Renqing are also on display until Aug. 18. Entry is free.

‘The Curation Workshop’

Contemporary artworks and projects created by 37 Chinese artists or groups are on display at “The Curation Workshop” exhibition.

Dates: Until Sept. 8

Tickets: 15-30 yuan (free on Tuesdays)
