Tasks assigned for better urban management
    2019-07-10  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

BAO’AN District Urban Administration and Law Enforcement Bureau recently held a meeting to summarize its achievements of the first half of the year and designate tasks for the next six months.

In the first half of the year, the district successfully carried out renovation projects in 149 urban villages, according to the bureau. It also had collected 199 stray dogs and helped to register 24,817 pet dogs, ranking first in the city.

Additionally, among 335,000 filed cases, 303,000 were settled by the district’s legal departments. The district’s urban environment was improved, and the blueprint for Bao’an Park also gained approval and confirmation from the district’s top officials.

Next, the bureau will continue to make its management more meticulous in order to ensure the environment is sound across the district, said a staffer with the bureau.

In particular, the bureau will focus on improving the sanitation of public toilets and upgrading its garbage sorting and garbage handling capabilities by speeding up the construction and modification of the Laohukeng trash incineration power plant as well as its leachate treatment plant.

The bureau will also work on constructing more parks. (Wang Jingli)
