Since 2016, Shenzhen Metro’s “Shenzhen Metro Art Museum” project has installed public art works in stations on Metro lines 7, 9 and 11 to create a better atmosphere for passengers and enhance the Metro’s functionality as both a transportation hub and an urban cultural space.

Shenzhen Metro is planning the design for stations in Phase 4 of its construction, comprising Metro lines 6, 12, 13, 14 and 16, which is scheduled to be completed in 2025. The company is now collecting the public’s opinions on Shenzhen’s culture through a questionnaire.
