Russian ballet by children’s theater
    2019-07-16  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

The St. Petersburg State Children’s Ballet Theater from Russia will present “Swan Lake” and “Sleeping Beauty” this weekend in town.

The theater was founded in 1992. Its director Anatoly Nikiforov and artistic director Irina Safonova are former performers of the Mariinsky Theater.

Although children of the St. Petersburg State Children’s Ballet Theater are merely aged between 7 and 17, they have become top-ranked ballet dancers after years of hard training and performing experience.

With the combination of excellent dance skills, magical choreography and music by the legendary Tchaikovsky, the two shows are surely worth watching.

Time: 8 p.m., July 19 (“Swan Lake”), 20 (“Sleeping Beauty”)

Tickets: 80-480 yuan (Discounts will be offered if you purchase both shows’ tickets.)

Venue: Nanshan Cultural and Sports Center, 2106 Nanshan Boulevard, Nanshan District (南山区南山大道2106号南山文体中心)

Metro: Line 1 to Taoyuan Station (桃园站), Exit B
