Ex-vice governor jailed

PU BO, former vice governor of Guizhou Province, has been sentenced to life in prison for taking bribes.

The sentence was announced Thursday by the Intermediate People’s Court of Nanjing in Jiangsu Province.

Mobile phone a must

MOBILE phones are a must for the Chinese people, even when they are taking showers, according to a report.

According to the report, released by a skincare product brand, 90 percent of Chinese habitually take their phones with them when they take a shower.

Besides listening to music, watching videos and listening to audio books or courses, 18.14 percent said they take their phones because they don’t want others to look at their devices, while 9.15 percent said they need to continue working during showers.
