Occasional showers

THERE will be occasional showers and sunny periods in the first half of the week, sources from Shenzhen Meteorological Observatory said. The temperature will range between 27-32 degrees Celsius with some periods of heavy rainfall.

Apartment selection

LONGGANG is offering 934 rental apartments to 68 qualified enterprises and 25 public institutions. The eligible employees of the organizations can log onto www.lg.gov.cn/bmzz/zjj, the official website of the district’s housing authority, to check the list and attend the apartment selection from Aug. 6-8.

Limits on non-local vehicles

NON-LOCALLY registered vehicles are required to follow designated routes to the city’s airport and checkpoints during rush hours, otherwise they will be fined, according to a public notice issued by the Shenzhen traffic police department.

Official vehicles on duty or with license plates for Hong Kong, Macao, consulates and embassies, or special permits issued by police for conferences and exhibitions, are not subject to the restriction, which will be in effect from Aug. 1, 2019, to Jan. 31, 2020.
