Waiting hall closed

THE waiting hall of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Intercity Train Ticket Office on the first floor of Shenzhen Railway Station in Luohu District was closed for construction work yesterday, the Shenzhen Economic Daily reported.

Passengers who need to take the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Intercity Train will be required to go to the underground floor to purchase tickets and board the train.

E-license issued

SHENZHEN has issued an electronic license for leisure boat skippers that includes a QR code through which the validity of the license can be verified, the Shenzhen Evening News reported.

Boat skippers will no longer need to carry a paper license, solving problems like loss of and damage to the paper license.

New ramps used

SEVEN ramps, namely A, B, E, G, F, H and L, along Shiyan Outer Ring Road (Aiqun Road to Huaning Road) were put into use yesterday, linking Longda Highway with Shiyan Outer Ring Road. The ring road is located in Shiyan Subdistrict in Bao’an District, and is part of the east-west trunk road corridor in Shenzhen.
