Two job fairs to be held in September
    2019-08-13  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

TWO major job fairs, including a special job fair for master’s and doctoral degree holders in the university town and the 23rd National College Graduates’ Autumn Job Fair, will be held in Shenzhen in September, according to the Shenzhen Evening News.

The job fair for master’s and doctoral degree students will be held from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the sports center in Shenzhen University Town, Nanshan District, on Sept. 11.

The organizer will invite more than 100 high-quality Shenzhen enterprises to participate in the job fair, including the world’s top 500 companies and the top 500 Chinese companies, to recruit for positions in software and hardware development and testing, R&D engineering, product operation and management and other professional fields.

In order to achieve a high rate of matching jobseekers with vacancies, before the job fair, Shenzhen Public Employment Service Center will cooperate with relevant colleges and universities in Shenzhen to select enterprises to attend the fair.

According to an analysis of the majors and the number of graduates among the 2019 master’s and doctoral degree students in Shenzhen, the center has targeted certain enterprises and posts to achieve a precise match between job hunting and employment.

The autumn student job fair will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sept. 25 in Hall 1 of Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center.

The job fair will have three zones: industry recruitment zone, recruitment zone for State-owned enterprises and youth trainee recruitment zone.

There will also be three service zones to help boost employment: resume diagnostic zone, professional assessment zone and policy advisory zone.

There will be not only senior career guidance experts on-site to provide employment guidance but also some professional assessment services to help jobseekers plan their careers.

The fair will also provide a special interpretation of policies, including employment promotion, talent introduction and talent rental subsidies.

This year, the fair will continue the “online + offline” mode and integrate various forms of online channels, such as intelligent jobhunting, networking, webcasts and WeChat Moments.
