Han Ximin ximhan@126.com HE DINGJUN, a student from Shenzhen Institute of Technology, won the silver prize in the 3-D Digital Games category at the 45th World Skills Competition that concluded in Kazan, Russia, on Tuesday, according to a release by the Shenzhen Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau. Two other students from the institute, Wu Junrong and Feng Jiahui, won an excellence prize in graphic design and a silver prize in industrial design, respectively, in the category covering future skills. The contest attracted 1,355 contestants from 69 countries and regions. Chinese contestants participated in all of the 56 categories in six sections, which included transportation and logistics, structure and architecture, manufacturing and engineering technologies, information and telecommunications, creative arts and fashion, and social and personal services. The Chinese delegation won 16 gold, 14 silver and five bronze medals in the competition. |
