A CAB driver who was suspected of fatigued driving killed one and injured two others in an accident at noon Friday in Futian District.

While turning right onto Hongling Road at the intersection with Hongli Road at around 11:14 a.m., the cab driver, surnamed Sheng, lost control of the vehicle and hit three pedestrians waiting at the traffic light on the safety island before crashing into a bus and a car.

The three were quickly brought to a hospital. One of them was pronounced dead after treatment failed, while the two others survived with serious injuries.

The cab is operated by Shenzhen Shangchao Car Rental Service Co. Ltd.  (Han Ximin)
