THE “eight measures” taken by Bao’an have helped a batch of enterprises to rent factories at reasonable prices following significant hikes of rental prices in recent years.

The rental prices of industrial premises in Bao’an District have substantial differences, ranging from 12 to 140 yuan (US$2-20) per square meter and showing a trend of rising from north to south.

As a result of stabilizing the rental price of factories, Bao’an carried out the “eight measures” to enhance the supervision of industrial and residential rental prices last December.

Bao’an has enforced standards on the electricity price and the shared area for industrial properties, set up systems for industry selection and supervision, and established a public service platform for industrial premises. Through the “eight measures,” the district has gradually met the demand for factories for a batch of enterprises, with more than 200,500 square meters being rented out.

Next, Bao’an will improve the dynamic information system for industrial parks, to help enterprises find appropriate factories more efficiently.  (Chen Siqi)
