A feast of Chinese culture

1. Local Hanfu fans play the traditional game of solving riddles written on lanterns to celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival at Mission Hills Sport & Eco Park in Longhua District on Saturday. Several thousand people attended a Hanfu-themed party at the park, playing traditional Chinese games like archery, Chinese-fan making, lantern-painting and handwriting to mark the festival. Hanfu, a kind of traditional Chinese formal attire, taking its name from the times of the Han Dynasty (202 B.C. - A.D. 220), has become a fashion for many Chinese nowadays. 2. An expatriate, donning a traditional Chinese outfit, takes part in a Mid-Autumn Festival event in Yujie Square in Shekou, Nanshan, on Friday. 3. Expats at a lantern riddle event at the Splendid China theme park Saturday.  Sun Yuchen, He Long, Lin Songtao
