Ancient books

Finely printed and revised Chinese books printed from the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368) to the early 20th century are on display.

Dates: Until Nov. 17

‘The Curation Workshop’

Contemporary artworks and projects created by 37 Chinese artists or groups are on display at “The Curation Workshop” exhibition.

Dates: Until Oct. 13

Tickets: 15-30 yuan (free on Tuesdays)

Xiong Wenyun’s works

Chinese artist Xiong Wenyun, who is renowned for exploring color and its effects through painting, photography and multimedia works, is holding her solo exhibition.

Dates: Until Sept. 27

Venue: C2 Space, North Area, OCT-LOFT, Nanshan District (南山区华侨城创意文化园北区C2展厅)

Painting exhibitions

“Truth of Nature,” a Chinese painting exhibition commemorating the 80th anniversary of Guangdong master Lin Fengsu’s birth, is being held until Sept. 22. “Ten Thousand Ranges of Hills Left Behind,” a grand exhibition of paintings depicting the beautiful Three Gorges by painters from the late Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) to the modern time, is being held until Sept. 26.

‘Frozen’

A “Frozen”-themed exhibition is being held at OCT Harbor. Visitors will not only be immersed in replicas of Arendelle Square, Wandering Oaken’s shop, the frozen forest and Elsa’s ice palace from the Disney movie but also get to view the drafts of the animation.

Dates: Until Sept. 20
