Light show

THE organizer will increase the number of light shows in the Futian CBD to three rounds each night between Sept. 20 and Oct. 15.

The rounds will start at 7:30 p.m., 8:30 p.m. and 9 p.m.

Road closure

THE section of Lixin Road South between Xiashiwei and Fuzhong Road will be closed for 180 days until March 14 for the construction of a Metro station on Line 12, the Shenzhen traffic police said on its official microblog.

Vehicles are advised to instead take Bao’an Boulevard or Huaide Road.

Bike ridership

THE daily bike ridership in Shenzhen has reached 2.5 million trips, according to statistics of the Municipal Transport Bureau.

Among them, 900,000 trips used app-based shared bikes.

In two years, the city built and renovated 500 kilometers of bicycle lanes, the bureau said Tuesday, National Biking Day.
