REPRESENTATIVES from 22 renowned universities from nine countries and regions attended Partner University Fair at Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen (HITSZ) on Saturday.

These include Oxford University, University of Bristol, University of Birmingham, University of Essex, Johns Hopkins University, University of Southern California, Michigan State University, Australian National University, University of Melbourne, University of Queensland, University of British Columbia, Centrale Nantes, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology and Hong Kong Baptist University.

“HITSZ will expand exchanges with top global universities in education, science and technology innovation and culture to deepen collaboration,” said Yao Yingxue, vice president of HITSZ, while meeting representatives from participating universities.

HITSZ has continued to promote exchanges with global universities by sending students to international competitions and joint cultivation programs while also holding summer camps and introducing scholars from over 100 noted universities at home and abroad to give lectures each year.

The fair provided a platform for local students to learn about studying abroad. At the same time, it offered a window for these universities to learn about Shenzhen students, according to Guan Haiyan, head of the HITSZ international office.
