Emmys Awards winners come out
    2019-09-24  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

THE 71st Annual Primetime Emmy Awards saw plenty of first-time winners take the stage Sunday night. “Killing Eve”’s Jodie Comer, “Pose” breakout Billy Porter and “Ozark”’s Julia Garner pulled off surprising upsets, nearly shutting out the “Game of Thrones” cast in major acting categories. However, Peter Dinklage made Emmy history with his fourth win for supporting actor in a drama for the HBO show.

On the comedy side, it was underdog “Fleabag” that ruled the evening, nabbing both the big award for best comedy and best lead actress in a comedy for star/writer/showrunner Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
