Armed police work at a site rocked by a 5.7-magnitude earthquake in Xiahe County, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Northwest China’s Gansu Province, yesterday. No casualties have been reported after the quake at 1:56 a.m. yesterday, local authorities said. Strong tremors were felt in the county and many people rushed out to the streets after the earthquake. Local governments of all the townships in the county are evaluating the impact of the quake.  China News Service
