New air terminal

A NEW air terminal for Shenzhen International Airport was officially put into use at Jiuzhou Port in Zhuhai City on Friday. This is the third air terminal set up in Zhuhai by the Shenzhen airport.

The ferry service between the Shenzhen airport ferry terminal and Zhuhai Jiuzhou ferry terminal was officially launched this April. With the new service, the Shenzhen airport has created a comprehensive traffic network linking air traffic with ocean traffic.

So far, the Shenzhen airport has set up 34 air terminals in eight cities, including Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Dongguan, Huizhou, Zhongshan, Foshan, Zhuhai and Heyuan, as well as the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Hospital rankings

SHENZHEN People’s Hospital is ranked among the top 20 Guangdong hospitals that showed strong comprehensive strength in South China in 2018, according to hospital rankings released by the Hospital Management Institute of Fudan University.

This year, nine hospitals in Guangdong Province have entered the list of the top 100 hospitals in China. The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University ranks sixth on the chart, one place ahead of where it stood in 2017.

Overpasses to open

TWO overpasses of Banyin Expressway will open to traffic in early December. The main projects on the two overpasses, namely Beihuan Overpass and Nigang Overpass, are expected to be completed today.

Banyin Expressway runs about 7.64 kilometers.

Temporary blindness

A WOMAN surnamed Wang was almost blinded in her left eye after playing games on her mobile phone all night with her friends recently.

Wang’s vision gradually recovered following emergency treatment at a Bao’an hospital.
