SPRING FESTIVAL TRAIN TICKET SALES START

People line up to buy train tickets at Hongqiao Railway Station in Shanghai on Thursday. Travelers were able to buy train tickets Thursday for the upcoming Spring Festival exodus. This annual travel rush, or chunyun in Chinese, will last 40 days from Jan. 10 to Feb. 18. Passengers are able to buy train tickets 30 days in advance of their trip. (Story on P4)
