Cute cat divides Internet
    2019-12-26  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

IF you love animals that look a little unique, then you’re going to fall head over heels for this stray cat that’s on the hunt for a home.

Known only as Yoda cat, the cute kitty has gone viral on social media after a woman shared several sweet photos of her.

Veterinary assistant Jana Aviles from North Carolina in the U.S. met the cat at work and instantly became smitten with her and there’s a good reason why.

Instead of being on top of her head, the cat’s ears seem to stick out to the side, which is why she’s become known as Yoda cat.

However some people couldn’t help but notice that she also looks a little like another pop culture character — Dobby the house elf from Harry Potter.

More than 4,000 people shared the post with over 3,000 commenting, with many people divided over whether she looked more like Dobby or Yoda.

One person proclaimed: “BABY YODA KITTEN!”

Another replied: “Everyone has mentioned Yoda, but all I can think is Dobby the Housecat.”

A third made a Yoda joke: “Buy her you must, pet her you shall.”

While someone else referenced Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, saying: “This cutie needs to be given a sock.”
