Heavy snow

THE national observatory yesterday maintained a blue alert for heavy snow in the country’s northern and western regions.

From yesterday morning to this morning, heavy snow is expected to hit parts of Shaanxi, Shanxi, Henan, Hebei, Inner Mongolia and Tibet.

Ancient tombs found

A TOTAL of 27 ancient tombs have been discovered in Central China’s Hunan Province, the provincial archaeological research institute said Saturday.
