Visitor limit

SHENZHEN Fairy Lake Botanical Garden will limit the number of visitors to the park to 20,000 on the eve of the Spring Festival.

Between Jan. 25 and 27, the number will be controlled within 80,000 a day. Visitors need to purchase tickets online in advance through the WeChat account “深圳市仙湖植物园.”

New campus

SHENZHEN Foreign Languages School (SZFLS) will have a new campus in Xinqiao Subdistrict, Bao’an District, according to an announcement by Bao’an District Education Bureau on its official WeChat account Tuesday.

The bureau signed an agreement with SZFLS last August to establish a nine-year compulsory education school.

Comrades’ reunion

GAO CHUNYING, a veteran of the East River Column, met an old comrade-in-arms Jan. 9 at Yikangyuan in Pingshan District. It had been more than 70 years since the two veterans last saw each other.
