Shenzhen Museum

Specimens of rare animals, plants and minerals and several plates from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey telescope are on display until Feb. 5. Ancient relics from various countries along the ancient Silk Road are also on display until March 29. And a batch of Song Dynasty (960-1279) porcelains are on display until March 8. Entry is free.

Nanshan Museum

Ancient relics from Central China’s Henan Museum are on display until April 18 and Chinese landscape paintings created by masters in the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) and the early 20th century are also on display until Feb. 9. And volumes from the Yongle Encyclopedia, the world’s largest ancient encyclopedia, are on display until March 8. Entry is free.

Poster exhibition

More than 100 posters by designers from 19 countries and regions are on display at “The Second Hakka Impression International Poster Exhibition.”

Dates: Until Feb. 21

Print exhibitions

More than 250 prints are on display at the 23rd “National Print Exhibition.” Entry is free.

Qiu Ying’s scroll

“Along the River During the Qingming Festival” by artist Qiu Ying (1494-1552) depicts Suzhou during his lifetime, The work captures the landscapes as well as some 1,300 vivid characters.

Dates: Until May 28
