Cotton sculpture goes abroad
    2020-01-22  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

Visitors experience the fabrication of cotton sculptures at a Chinese intangible cultural heritage exhibition recently. Xiao’s cotton sculpting, a provincial-level intangible cultural heritage from Bao’an, was on display in Montenegro and Denmark recently. Xiao’s cotton sculpting work is a kind of soft sculpture that is made out of cotton, processed by sewing, embroidery, painting and dyeing and decorated with cloth, jewelry and more. Other intangible cultural heritage projects, including paper-cutting and Chinese knot tying, have attracted visitors’ attention at the exhibition.  Zuo Tingting, Liu Hong
