A VIDEO titled “We Are All Fighters” created by a Shenzhen resident in support of the fight against the COVID-19 epidemic recently caught enormous public attention and went viral online.

The video has now been viewed nearly 600,000 times on various platforms.

Liu Jie, the video’s creator, said in a live interview with Spot News on Wednesday that hardly a day has gone by over the past month that she hasn’t followed the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases and related news and stories.

Liu said that she is deeply touched by all the efforts that the country has been put into fight against the virus.

She decided to do her part to deliver hope and confidence to all the frontline workers, and more importantly, to let people around the world witness China’s determination to win the battle.

Shenzhen Daily reposted the video to WeChat the day after Liu published it on her own account a week ago.

Many netizens at home and abroad gave a thumbs up to the video, saying that it is inspiring and worth sharing.

A Belgian identified as Ronny, who runs a charity foundation called A Heart to China and is current living in Shenzhen, shared the video with many of his foreign friends after seeing it.

Even primary school students left comments saying they really like the video.

As a mother of a one-year-old infant, Liu was only able to work on the video at times when her baby was asleep.

Liu said that she never thought she could earn so much attention from the public, let alone be favored by young children.

“I believe the value and positive energy behind the video is the thing that has captivated the crowds,” said Liu.
