SHENZHEN traffic police yesterday removed all 49 inspection points that were set up on roads in January for vehicles coming into the city as a key measure to contain the spread of COVID-19. All roads to the city have resumed normal traffic. In the past 50 days, nearly 10,000 police officers and medical workers operated the points each day, checking a total of 12 million vehicles and 20 million people entering the city, police said in a press release yesterday.
