    2020-05-08  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

TIM YIP, Academy Award-winning costume designer and art director, will join an online streaming program, titled “ALab,” which will kick off this Friday on video sharing platform Bilibili.

Co-organized by the Tianqiao Performing Arts Center, the online program will also gather artists, including writer Pai Hsien-yung, Kunqu Opera actress Shen Fengying and pianist Gu Jieting, who will share their artistic works and the ideas behind them.

According to Zhang Li, general manager of the center, the performing arts market has been heavily affected by the coronavirus outbreak and online events, which helps the center connect with audiences, have been planned for months.

Drummers of the U-theater from Taiwan will premiere their new works during the online program, the art troupe’s first new pieces after losing its theater in Taiwan in a fire.(SD-Agencies)
