THE 18th Conference on International Exchange of Professionals (CIEP) has been postponed, and will be held between July and November due to the COVID-19 epidemic.

The conference will combine both online and offline practices to display business environment, talent policies and scientific and technological achievements of cities across the country.

Flying catkins

FLYING catkins of kapok trees seen in the city will disappear by the end of this month, said experts.

Doctors suggest that citizens with allergies take measures to prevent mouth, nose, eye and skin exposure to the external environment because catkins might cause cough, asthma, rash, and rubella.

Driving tests

THE city resumed all subject tests for the driving test Saturday.

Preventative measures have been in place to ensure the safety of candidates. For example, candidates should go to test venues at their designated time slots and wait at outdoor meeting points.

Student enrollment

PRIVATE schools with applications of grade one and seven students surpassing the number of seats allowed by the municipal education authority should be chosen by lottery for eligible applicants.

Private schools can decide the date for the lottery but should notify the public three days in advance.
