Application for foreign investment reward opens
    2020-05-11  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

FOREIGN-INVESTED firms in the city can apply for this year’s first batch of investment rewards, according to the Shenzhen Municipal Commerce Bureau.

The reward was created to encourage foreign-funded companies to introduce new projects and expand their investment scale in Shenzhen, Shenzhen Economic Daily reported.

Applicants should be foreign-invested firms legally registered in Shenzhen with an independent legal personality. They should have also received the provincial investment reward in 2018.

New projects (not including those in real estate, finance and finance-related industries) with annual actual investment of US$500 million and beyond (foreign shareholder loans not included) by foreign-funded companies with the 2018 provincial reward are eligible to receive the same amount of investment, no higher than 100 million yuan (US$14.1 million).

The same reward standards are also applied to projects (not including those in real estate, finance and finance-related industries) with annual added investment of US$300 million and beyond (foreign shareholder loans not included) by foreign companies with the 2018 provincial reward, according to the plan.
