SHENZHEN has signed a strategic framework agreement for strengthening cooperation in an all-rounded way with China Southern Power Grid Co. Ltd. on Wednesday.
Shenzhen power grid is a super-large city power grid with the largest power load density and highest power supply reliability in China.
In 2019, Shenzhen ranked No. 1 in power-acquiring index and has ranked among the top Chinese cities in power supply reliability for nine straight years.
The average time of a blackout lasts 0.19 minutes in Futian District, meaning the city’s average length of a blackout has reached a world-leading level.
At a meeting with a visiting delegation of China Southern Power Grid Co. Ltd., Wang Weizhong, Shenzhen’s Party chief, said the two sides will implement the agreement and optimize the power supply environment and contribute to building a world-leading intelligent power supply network. The two sides will turn Shenzhen into a beacon for high-quality development of power grids and help build Shenzhen into a global benchmark city with strong competitiveness, innovative capabilities and influence.
