Heavy rain

SHENZHEN enters a period of heavy rain with thunderstorms and occasional showers in the coming week.

There will be thunderstorms today and tomorrow, and on Thursday and Friday, there will be rounds of heavy rain, sources from Shenzhen Meteorological Observatory said yesterday.

Second safety check

SHENZHEN North Railway Station will have a second safety check for trains G80, D902, D904, D910 and D928 until May 28.

Passengers are advised to arrive at the station at least one to two hours in advance and leave enough time to go through the additional security ahead of train embarkation.

Viaducts to open

THE three viaducts I, F and G linking Beihuan Boulevard and Bantian-Yinhu Passage will open Monday, a source from Shenzhen’s transport commission said. The main line of Bantian-Yinhu Passage has been open to traffic since April 28.
