He Xiangning Art Museum

Paintings and sculptures created by Chinese artist Qin Qi and Philippine artist Rodel Tapaya are on display until July 5 at the “Heavenly Bodies in the South” exhibition. Meanwhile, paintings by master He Xiangning are also on display until June 28, offering an in-depth review of her revolutionary and artistic career. Entry is free. Visitors are required to book their visit on the museum’s WeChat account “hxnartmuseum.”

Sea World

The “Values of Design: China in the Making” exhibition (68 yuan), running until Dec. 20, showcases 138 Chinese works and explores the growing field of Chinese design. Meanwhile, the People’s Architecture Office, which is renowned for taking a different approach to urban redevelopment, is exhibiting its past projects at the “Social Design: Learning at Play” exhibition (free entry).

Hours: 10 a.m.-7 p.m. (Mon.-Fri.), 10 a.m.-9 p.m. (Sat.-Sun.)

Venue: Sea World Culture and Arts Center, Nanshan District (南山区海上世界文化艺术中心)

‘Endless Stream’

Paintings by 26 artists of the Creation Institute of Guan Shanyue Art Museum are on display at “The Current Endless Stream” until June 28. Entry is free. Visitors are required to book their visit on the museum’s WeChat account “gsyart.”

Contemporary art

Artworks by contemporary artists Ron English, Takashi Murakami, Futura and Mo Di are on display until July 20.

‘On the Myth of Babel’

The “On the Myth of Babel” exhibition, running until June 30, showcases contemporary artworks from nine artists and designers, covering a variety of forms and languages ranging from oil paintings, sculptures, prints, photos and installations. Entry is free.
