Making up shortfalls THE renovation and expansion project of the Shenzhen No. 3 People’s Hospital has been chosen as one of the projects that will make up for the shortfalls in the public service sectors which were exposed during the outbreak of the coronavirus. The other projects on the 2020 list also include the service building of Shenzhen Emergency Blood Center, the Bao’an Environment Treatment Technology Application and Demonstration Base, Phase II of Fuyong Water Purification Factory and Phase II of Gushu Water Purification Factory, according to the list released by the Guangdong Provincial Development and Reform Commission. SUSTech graduates A TOTAL of 1,344 students of graduate and undergraduate programs at Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) bid farewell to their school after a ceremony Sunday. The ceremony was held outdoors for the first time due to COVID-19. This year also marks the 10th anniversary of SUSTech. Data showed that among the 933 undergraduates, 846 had received offers for graduate studies or employment by June 28. Among them, more than 60 percent have chosen to further their education, while more than 30 percent have chosen employment. |
