Health report

STUDENTS who will take this year’s high school entrance exam as well as the academic proficiency test July 21, 22 and 23 should make a health report through the “深i您” app starting Monday. Otherwise, they will not be able to take the exam, according to the city’s exam management office.

Average salary

THE average monthly salary of staff of nonprivate companies in Shenzhen last year was 10,646 yuan (US$1,518), ranking No. 1 in Guangdong Province. The average annual salary in the city was 127,757 yuan, according to information released by the Guangdong Provincial Human Resources and Social Security Department.

Sleeper train

A HIGH-SPEED sleeper train D916, between Shenzhen North Railway Station and Nantong Station, was put into operation Friday.

D916 leaves Shenzhen at 8:04 p.m. and arrives in Nantong, Jiangsu Province, at 8:10 a.m. the next day. The trip is 12 hours and 6 minutes.

Pedestrian overpass

THE Shahexi-Dachong pedestrian overpass in Nanshan District is expected to be completed by the end of this year.

The overpass, crossing Shahe West Road, connects Dachong area in the west with an ecological corridor in the east. The overpass is about 113 meters long and 4.3 meters wide.
