Regional contest

THE regional contest of Sino-U.S. Youth Maker Competition was held in Nanshan recently and five projects have been selected for the national competition. The regional contest, held online, attracted over 500 participants from more than 100 teams from Guangdong, Guangxi, Hunan, Guizhou and Yunnan.

HPV vaccine

CITIZENS in Guangming District are now able to make a reservation for domestically made two-valent human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine for use by females aged 9 to 45 in Tangwei and Xinwei community health centers.

The cost of a single shot is about half that of an imported vaccine of the same kind. The vaccine requires three shots over a six-month period. Reservations are available through the WeChat mini program “社康通.”
