Cocaine smuggling

SHENZHEN Customs recently seized 601.5 grams of cocaine hidden inside vacuum flasks and a paper box in two inbound parcel vehicles at Huanggang Checkpoint. The cases have been handed to the anti-smuggling department for investigation, Shenzhen Customs said.

On Sept. 1, Huanggang Customs found three vacuum flasks that were not declared to customs through X-ray. The white powder hidden inside of the flasks, 357.4 grams in total, was confirmed to be cocaine, customs said Tuesday.

Customs officers also found five parcels of cocaine, weighing 244 grams, hidden inside a paper box from an inbound truck on Sept. 3
