    2020-09-18  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

THE roof of the College of Health Science and Environmental Engineering of Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU) in Pingshan District was sealed Tuesday, according to the municipal public works bureau.

The construction started in December 2018. The building covers an area of 56,200 square meters and stands at a height of 40.35 meters.

Ruan Shuangchen, president of SZTU, said he was hoping to continue close cooperation with the public works bureau to conclude all projects under the first phase of the construction plan.

The college is one of the four sections in SZTU’s Phase I construction project. The project covers a total area of 950,000 square meters.

At present, the construction of the first section, including teaching buildings, university hospital building, the north cafeteria, the north dormitory building and the building for overseas students and foreign teachers, were completed and have been put into use.

The remaining construction, except the south dormitory and advanced material testing center, will be finished Dec. 30 this year, according to the plan.
