Ocean conservation

WORLD Wide Fund For Nature (WWF) Beijing office and One Planet Foundation (OPF) jointly released China’s first marine environmental education curriculum on the second Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Natural Education Forum that was held in Guangzhou between Sept. 24 and Sept. 26.

The curriculum centers around four topics: knowledge of the ocean, importance of the ocean, the problems faced by the ocean and protection of the ocean. It aims to raise the public awareness of the ocean, to let the public understand the relation between human beings and the ocean and the right ways to regard challenges of the ocean so as to call for more efforts to protect the ocean for a sustainable life.
