Shenzhen Museum

“The Splendor of Southeast China: Leifeng Pagoda and Buddhist Art of Wuyue State,” running until Sunday, features 78 pieces of Wuyue State (907-978) relics. Meanwhile, animal skeletons and ape man skulls, models and description videos are also on display to present the 500-million-year vertebrate evolution until Oct. 17. Visitors are required to book on the WeChat account “iszbwg.”

‘Home by Lou River’

Landscape paintings by the Four Wangs and other masters of the Loudong style are on display at the “Home by Lou River — From Four Wangs to Modern Loudong Special Exhibition” until Nov. 20. Follow the WeChat account “hxnartmuseum” to book in advance.

Nanshan Museum

A Three Kingdoms-themed exhibition, with more than 170 pieces of precious cultural relics provided by 36 museums around China, is being held until Oct. 14. Meanwhile, cultural relics from Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Museum are also on display until Nov. 29. Porcelains from Jingdezhen are on display until Nov. 22. Entry is free and visitors are required to book their visit on the museum’s WeChat account “nanshanmuseum.”

‘Values of Design’

The “Values of Design: China in the Making” exhibition (68 yuan), running until Dec. 20, showcases 138 Chinese works and explores the growing field of Chinese design.

Guan Shanyue’s art

Master Guan Shanyue’s paintings of murals in the Mogao Caves and the landscape in Northwest China are on display at the “Camel Bells Beyond the Great Wall” exhibition until June 26, 2021. Follow the WeChat account “gsyart” to book your visit.
