SHENZHEN University (SZU) was listed 427th on the US News’ 2021 rankings of Best Global Universities, a change of 258 positions compared with last year, said SZU.

At the same time, SZU ranked 32nd on the Chinese mainland and the 3rd in Guangdong Province after Sun Yat-sen University and South China University of Technology. A total of 12 universities in Guangdong were on the US News’ 2021 Best Global Universities Rankings.

Tsinghua University, Peking University and Shanghai Jiao Tong University were placed at the top three positions for the Chinese mainland, based on the rankings.

Nearly 1,500 universities in 81 countries and regions were selected for this year’s rankings, same as last year.

Institutions are ranked based on 13 indicators that measure their academic research performance and their global and regional reputations.
