Intl. talent station to be in service in Longhua
    2020-11-02  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

AN international talent service station located at the west square of Shenzhen North Railway Station in Longhua District will open soon, sznews.com reported.

The station covers an area of 620 square meters. The station’s operation team is conducting a last check.

Shenzhen North Railway Station sees lots of passengers each day, which also brings in rich human resources.

A staffer with the station’s operation team surnamed Chen said that their job is to think of ways to build the station into a demonstration site for international talent services in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

The station includes eight functional areas such as administration service area, smart exchange area, talent station, exhibition area, international talent meeting area, and a convenient train transfer area.

Administration services such as policy consultation, talent introduction, and talent housing services can be handled at the station.

A special window is also set up to allow foreigners to directly deal with working permits.

The international talent meeting area provides a place for people to conduct both casual talks and business meetings.

The station has a talent green passage to allow talent to go directly to the train station’s waiting room. They can rest at the station before departure.

The exhibition room will display Longhua’s special cultures, pillar industries and scientific and technological products on a regular basis.

“Many products we used here are designed by our talented people from Longhua,” said Chen. “We are hoping the station becomes a window for people to learn about Longhua and Shenzhen.” (Wang Jingli)
