A JOB fair for high-tech talent was initiated online Thursday at the Talent and Human Resources Exchange Fair in the office area of the city’s human resources and social security bureau.

As a sideline event of the 2020 China Hi-Tech Fair, the job fair has on offer 2,386 posts, including 39 posts with annual salaries of more than 1 million yuan (US$151,000). Some posts provide highest salaries ranging from 3 million to 5 million yuan, according to the organizer.

The online job fair will run until the end of the year and has attracted 136 enterprises in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area including BYD, Shenzhen Talent Group and Batar Investment.

At the launch ceremony, the organizer conferred awards to winners of the city’s first human resources digitization technology contest. An AI-based test system developed by Oxcoder and an intelligent training platform developed by Ping An International Smart City Technology Co. Ltd. won first prize in the category of innovation and the category of application.
