‘Futurology of Art’

The “Futurology of Art” exhibition running until Dec. 15 features installations by 27 Chinese artists in a variety of media, such as 3-D animation, robotics, laser and physics. Entry is free.

‘Lighthouse’

Abstract paintings by British artist John McLean (1939-2019) are on display at the “Lighthouse — Go Back to John McLean and His Time” exhibition until Dec. 15.

Venue: LAN Gallery, 3/F, O’Plaza, OCT Harbor, Nanshan District (南山区欢乐海岸购物中心三楼蓝岸画廊)

Murals recreated

Paintings which are based on murals in the caves along the ancient Silk Road are on display at the “From Dunhuang to Gaochang” exhibition (118 yuan) until Feb. 15, 2021.

Metro: Line 1 or 2 to Grand Theater Station (大剧院站), Exit B

Wu Weishan’s sculptures

Sculptures and paintings created by Wu Weishan are on display until Nov. 26. Ban Ki-moon, former Secretary-General of the United Nations, once said Wu’s sculptures reflect the soul of mankind. Follow WeChat account “gsyart” to book your visit.

Venue: Guan Shanyue Art Museum, Futian District (福田区关山月美术馆)

Metro: Line 3 or 4 to Children’s Palace Station (少年宫站), Exit F

Pingshan Art Museum

Artists Liu Jianhua, He An and Wang Sishun are exhibiting their nature-related artworks at the “Consensus — Man in Chinese Garden” exhibition until Nov. 20. Meanwhile, two exhibitions under the “Nine-Tiered Pagoda: Spatial and Visual Magic” project are also being held until Nov. 29. Visitors are required to book on the museum’s WeChat account “PingshanArtMuseum.”

Venue: Pingshan Art Museum, Huide Road, Pingshan District (坪山区汇德路坪山美术馆)

Transport: Take the high-speed rail from Futian Station or Shenzhen North Station to Pingshan Station and then take a taxi
